If I join do I have to pay $9.95 a month?
No. To keep an account, it is just a one-time fee of $9.95. You will not have to pay again. The 30 day trial is an offer to let you use the system before paying the one-time fee to keep it going.
Do I need a membership to a gym as well as Train360?
You do not need to have a gym membership. The beauty of this program is that it can be done just about anywhere. The fitness equipment used throughout the workouts is inexpensive and can all be purchased at a local sporting goods store or on thehoneyline.com. For the cardio workouts, you can do them in a gym or outside on the road/trail. It is helpful if you have access to a pool but NOT mandatory.
This looks too hard for me! Should I still join?
Yes you should join. In the 'How To Use It' section of Train 360 Mike explains how to MODIFY the workload if it is too difficult for you. Remember, any amount of exercise is better than none. As long as you are pushing yourself on a consistent basis then you will benefit. For beginners, you should choose a low weight if using dumbbells like: 2lbs, 4lbs etc. You can gradually increase your weight as you get stronger and need to be challenged more.
What if I choose a level, and then want to change it?
On your profile page, you have the option to change the level of workouts you get each day. You can move to Beginner or to Intermediate-Advanced at any time.
What equipment is used in the workouts?
Only a stability ball, bands, a bench, a broom handle, and some paper plates. We emphasize moving the body in different planes of motion, using the body weight as a primary tool.
I don't have a bench in my house, what can I use?
We strongly encourage you to make the investment to get all the equipment for the program. It will really help you get the most of the workouts. If a bench is just too much trouble you can try to modify the exercises a bit and do them using a sturdy chair and/or a couch, depending on the exercise.
Sometimes I can't remember how to do the exercise when I go to the gym. What should I do?
We recommend you practice each move several times before you go workout. We have provided our own key word descriptions for you and jpegs but we also recommend writing down your own key words to help you remember. Exercises do show up again in subsequent workouts so you will start to learn the nomenclature and spend less time viewing them. But the videos are always there for you!
Do I get one on one help from a trainer?
In the video demos, Mike and Gabby show you and tell you how to perform the exercises in detail. Each workout comes in a print out form with key word descriptions and jpegs. For other questions you can submit them to info@mytrain360.com.
